Fresno Accident Involving Small Motorcycle and Pick-Up Truck Results in Injuries

A motor vehicle accident in Fresno that involved a small motorcycle, also referred to as a pocket bike, and a pick-up truck has left a father and son with head injuries. According to an ABCLocal.Go.com report, the crash took place at the intersection of Jackson and Kings Canyon shortly after 8 a.m. on the morning of Thursday, March 31. Police reported that the small motorcycle was traveling south when it failed to stop, therefore striking a pick-up truck that was traveling west on Kings Canyon. The father and son were reportedly not wearing helmets and the small motorcycle bike did not have any brakes.

Apparently, the boy needed a ride to school because he was running late. However, Police stated that the pocket bike is not legally permitted to operate on city streets. At the time the article was published, it was stated that the pick-up truck motorist would not be cited for the crash. However, it is possible that this decision could change after a thorough investigation of the collision.

Accidents involving motor vehicles on the road can happen due to various forms of negligence. While crashes involving small motorcycles do not happen as frequently as collisions involving motorcycles that are legally allowed to travel on the road, any type of motor vehicle accident can have serious consequences.

The aftermath of a motorcycle collision presents many physical, financial, and emotional challenges for an accident victim and their family. Fresno motorcycle crash lawyers can help individuals injured in motorcycle collisions hold negligent parties liable as well as obtain compensation for pain and suffering, lost wages, hospital bills, medical treatment, and other expenses.

City of Sacramento Found Liable for Pedestrian's Catastrophic Injury

In a recent case, a jury determined that the city of Sacramento was mainly responsible for the serious brain injury of a woman who was hit by a vehicle while running in a crosswalk almost four years ago. News10.net reports that the jury concluded that the Land Park crosswalk on the active two lane street that used to travel in one direction was too hazardous. Since the Sacramento pedestrian accident, the road now has one lane in both directions, pedestrians do not have to walk as far to get across the street, and there is a pedestrian-activated signal light that envelops the crosswalk.

According to the article, the two week trial consisted of testimonies made by city planners and Former Mayor Heather Fargo stating that the crosswalk was unsafe. Apparently, some evidence even described the crosswalk as "the Bermuda Triangle of Sacramento." The jury decided that the city of Sacramento knew about the dangers of the crosswalk and believed the pedestrian crash ended the woman's medical career, tragically cutting her livelihood short.

It's difficult to imagine that in 2009, 4,092 pedestrians were killed and 59,000 were injured in traffic accidents in the United States. Based on data provided by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), about 72 percent of pedestrian deaths occurred in urban environments as opposed to rural settings. Moreover, approximately 76 percent of pedestrian fatalities took place at non-intersections, about 90 percent happened during normal weather conditions, and almost 70 percent occurred during the evening hours.

With these high risk factors in mind, each city and state has a responsibility of ensuring that crosswalks and intersections are safely designed and have proper signage. Unfortunately, there are already many other potential risks of pedestrian accidents occurring due to distracted driving, speeding, and other forms of negligence without dangerous road conditions or inadequate crosswalks playing a role.

Pedestrian accidents sadly often result in catastrophic injuries or death. Pedestrians are at significant risk of suffering a spinal cord injury, brain injury, broken bones, and other serious damage. Anyone who is injured in a Sacramento pedestrian collision may want to get in touch with a Sacramento pedestrian accident lawyer with experience obtaining compensation for those hurt by another person's negligence.

Updated Child Seat Guidelines Released by NHTSA

As parents, it is expected that you will devote a good amount of time to selecting the safest car seat for your child. To ensure that parents are up to speed on the latest car seat safety developments, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has published new guidelines for parents to maximize the safety of their child or children while they are traveling in a vehicle. Considering that motor vehicle collisions are the main cause of death for children from 3- to 14-years-old, the NHTSA's child restraint guidelines serve an important purpose in promoting safety and helping prevent serious injury or death to children.

The NHTSA recommends that parents and caregivers do the following:

  • Choose a car seat based on the child's age and size

  • Select a child car seat that fits inside their specific vehicle

  • Use the car seat every time the child travels with them in the car

  • Remember to completely read their car seat manufacturer's instructions as well as their vehicle owner's manual on how to install the car seat with the seat belt or LATCH system

  • Check seat height and weight limits in relation to their vehicle

  • As long as the child is within the manufacturer's height and weight limits, keep the child in the car seat for as long as possible

  • Keep children in the back seat who are at least through the age of 12

In addition to following the above child seat guidelines, parents and caregivers can register their child seat and receive recall and defect notifications. Even though the NHTSA notes that about 8,950 lives were preserved because of child restrains from 1975 to 2008, unfortunately, child car seats can be poorly designed or improperly manufactured.

When the unthinkable happens, an Oakland defective product attorney can assist parents whose child was injured because of a defective child car seat or other product intended for child use. Manufacturers of children products are responsible for designing, testing, and making products that are safe. A skilled products liability lawyer will work hard to ensure that any failure to uphold this duty does not go unpunished.

San Diego Boating Accident Raises Boat Safety Awareness Issues for Californians

With the summer months just around the corner, some Californians are already taking to the water to enjoy basking in the sun. However, as a recent San Diego boating accident demonstrates, the potential risks involved with being on the open water in terms of capsizing, drowning, and injury should not be overlooked.

A Los Angeles Times article reports that two people were killed and eight others injured in a California boat accident involving an initially reported 35-foot sailboat rental. The majority of the victims are reported to be members of one family, including a few children. Two adult males were pronounced dead at Shelter Island's rescue command center. Apparently, the boat encountered unknown trouble after 5 p.m. close to Harbor Island on Sunday, March 27.

While the cause of the boat overturning has not been determined, the Harbor Police are investigating the accident. There has not been any information about another boat being involved in the fatal incident and weather conditions were relatively calm. The article mentions that the most severely injured person on the boat was a woman who is being treated for hypothermia at the intensive-care unit at UC San Diego Medical Center.

Drowning accidents that involve boats are some of the most tragic incidents because they could have been prevented. As residents of San Francisco and visitors to the area know, the Bay serves as a great place for tourists, fishermen, and locals to enjoy the scenery and learn more about the region. Similar to San Diego's coast, San Francisco Bay can draw a lot of boat traffic from sailboats to barges. When boats are not properly maintained or repaired, they may pose certain risks to boat occupants or lead to accidents. All boat operators have the important responsibility to devote their full and undivided attention to the vessel's surroundings. Texting and driving is a major issue these days, but far too often, Californians forget that cell phone use while operating a boat can be just as dangerous.

Although not every California boat crash is caused by a negligent boat operator, a handful of boating accidents have been linked to drunken boat operation, texting while driving a boat, and other forms of reckless behavior. A San Francisco boat accident attorney can help individuals injured and family members of those killed in boating collisions that were caused by another person's negligence obtain the compensation that is due to them. Boat accident victims do not have to face their long road to recovery alone.

Re-Announcement of Delta Enterprise "Safety Peg" Drop-Side Crib Recall Launched after Second Infant Fatality

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and Delta Enterpise Corp. have re-announced the recall of over 985,000 drop-side cribs with "Crib Trigger Lock and Safety Peg" hardware. According to the CPSC announcement, in January 2011, the CPSC and Delta received a report of the death of a 7-month-old girl from Colorado Springs, CO in 2009. The infant reportedly became entrapped and suffocated amid the detached drop-side and mattress of her recalled crib. The infant's crib had been bought secondhand. When it was re-assembled, safety pegs were not inserted in the bottom tracks of the crib.

The lack of safety pegs can cause a crib's drop-side rail to disengage from the track. As a consequence, a hazardous space can be created, thus putting an infant in danger of becoming entrapped or suffocating.

The Delta Enterprise drop-side crib that caused the death of the 7-month-old girl from Colorado was included in an October 2008 recall. At that time, consumers were notified about the death of an 8-month-old girl who became entrapped and suffocated after the drop side of her crib became detached. The 2008 recall also announced reports of two entrapments and nine crib detachments of cribs that did not have safety pegs.

Consumers concerned about whether their infant's crib is included in the re-announcement of the recalled Delta drop-side cribs can refer to the crib's model number, which is located on the top of the mattress support board. To view the crib models that have been recalled, visit the CPSC website: http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml11/11179.html.The cribs were sold for about $100 at retail stores including Kmart, Target, and Walmart between January 1995 and December 2005 (through September 2007 for model 4624).

If your child is currently using a Delta crib that is missing a safety peg on either leg of the drop side, the CPSC urges parents and caregivers to stop using the cribs right away. Consumers should also contact Delta to receive a free, easy-to-install repair kit. Call Delta at (800) 816-5304 or visit http://www.cribrecallcenter.com. When waiting for a repair kit or for the installation of new safety pegs onto the crib, parents and caregivers should find a safe sleeping environment substitute for their child.

Parents do everything possible to keep their children safe. However, there is only so much that even the most cautious and attentive parent can do when a defective product is being used by their infant or child. San Francisco defective product attorneys have the legal knowledge and experience to hold negligent manufacturers liable when their products cause innocent consumers injury or death.

Fresno State Hosts Symposium Series about Dangers of Distracted Driving

The Fresno Bee reports that Fresno State will be holding a Symposium series led by Roger Tatarian to address the many dangers of distracted driving, particularly motorists' use of cell phones while behind the wheel.

The Department of Mass Communications and Journalism is sponsoring the discussion about the consequences of technology addiction experienced by drivers. According to the article, research has shown that the overuse of electronics, including cell phones, reaches all age groups. However, societal pressure to incessantly keep in touch with peers has put teens and college-age adults at more risk of being distracted while driving or while carrying out other tasks throughout their day.

The chair of the Mass Communication and Journalism Department stated, "We are becoming a society that is obsessed with our cell phones. Until people are directly impacted or something happens to wake them up, that's the only way that they're going to stop."

In California, motorists are banned from talking on hand-held devices and texting while driving. Unfortunately, however, both of these actions are still frequently being carried out, leading to serious auto accidents in Fresno and throughout the state.

NHTSA Traffic Safety Facts On Distracted Driving
According to data provided by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), in 2009, 5,474 people lost their lives in the United States and an additional 448,000 suffered injury in motor vehicle accidents that were reported to have involved distracted driving. Of those individuals who were killed in distracted-driving-related collisions, 995 involved reports of cell phone as a distraction.

The NHTSA also notes that 16% of all drivers younger than 20 involved in fatal accidents were reported to have been distracted while driving. Considering that the age group with the highest proportion of distracted drivers was the "under-20 age group", promoted symposiums and discussions are events that college campuses may want to strongly consider to help spread the word about the dangers of distracted driving.

As one of eight states with a ban on all drivers using hand-held cell phones while driving and one state out of 30 that outlaws driving while texting, California has taken a major step. However, some research has indicated that the actual rate of texting while driving has increased since legislation passed in 2009.

After A Car Accident
Anyone who has been in a car accident knows that it can often be a stressful experience. The aftermath of an auto accident is even more challenging when an individual must cope with recovering from serious injuries and mounting medical bills. If you have been injured in a Fresno car crash that was caused by a distracted driver or a motorist who was texting while driving, a Fresno cell phone accident lawyer will do everything possible to protect your rights and help you obtain the compensation you deserve from negligent parties.

Six Injured in Accident Involving San Francisco Municipal Railway Light Rail Vehicle and Big-Rig

Six people have suffered minor injuries after an accident that involved a San Francisco Municipal Railway light-rail vehicle and a big-rig. According to ABClocal.go.com, the big-rig struck the Muni vehicle on its right side near the front. The six injured individuals were on board the Muni vehicle at the time of the collision, and were transported to a hospital where they are anticipated to survive. The Muni light-rail car was on the KT-Ingleside/Third Street line. The San Francisco big-rig accident involving the light-rail vehicle occurred around 10:23 a.m. at the intersection of Third and 23rd streets in the Dogpatch neighborhood.

As such a busy and densely populated city, San Francisco is unfortunately not immune to accidents. Although the details leading up to this particular auto accident have yet to be determined, many motor vehicle crashes could have been prevented if a motorist had been paying attention to the road or had followed traffic laws. Far too many drivers take for granted the privilege of having a driver's license. And this can even hold truth for commercial truck and public transportation drivers.

Individuals who are fortunate to survive an auto collision, especially one involving a big-rig or other large vehicle, often face a long road to recovery from serious injuries. Some common motor vehicle accident injures include broken bones, back injury, brain injury, spinal cord injury, internal injury, burn injury, and other severe calamities. When a car accident caused by a negligent driver causes another individual or group of individuals injury, San Francisco car accident injury lawyers can help those injured receive compensation for medical expenses, pain and suffering, lost wages, and other damages.

While contacting an attorney after an auto accident can seem stressful at first, you may find that talking with a lawyer actually helps resolve some of the issues caused by the crash. Ensuring that you receive compensation for an accident involving a big-rig, bus, or light-rail vehicle can be particularly complex. The agencies that employ drivers of these vehicles have attorneys of their own and will do everything possible to protect their company. Pursuing a claim for an auto accident will not only help relieve you of financial strain and compensate you for other damages, but holding negligent parties liable can help prevent them from putting other lives in danger in the future.

Big Rig Underride Guard Failure in Accidents Examined by Insurance Institute for Highway Safety

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety recently announced new crash test results and analysis revealing the life-threatening risks of tractor-trailer underride guard failure in low-speed accidents. In determining that truck underride guards increase the chances of death or serious injury to small passenger vehicle occupants, the Institute has petitioned the federal government to enact stricter underride guards that will withstand a collision. The agency is also requesting that the federal government authorize guards for more large commercial trucks and trailers.

Although rear guards are the main defense against deaths and injuries when passenger vehicles crash into the back of tractor-trailers, these guards are dangerous because the upper part of the passenger vehicle's occupant compartment usually crushes as the truck body strikes the vehicle. According to a Wall Street Journal report on the crash test results, truck underride guards are capable of failing at crash speeds as low as 35 mph. In a rear-end collision where a passenger vehicle hits the back of a large truck, the car's windshield becomes the chief spot of impact. Unfortunately, this means that even some cars with top safety ratings in federal and Insurance Institute accident tests do not provide adequate protection to vehicle occupants.

Considering that in 2009, 70 percent of the 3,163 individuals who were killed in all large truck accidents were occupants of cars or other passenger vehicles, the need for stronger truck underride guard standards cannot be stressed enough.

Vehicle manufacturers have the important duty of designing, creating, and testing vehicles that are free of defects and are capable of keeping occupants safe in a collision, otherwise known as being "crashworthy." There is no denying that individuals who are injured and family members of those killed in auto accidents that were caused due to a lack of vehicle crashworthiness face many challenges. A San Francisco vehicle crashworthiness lawyer can conduct a thorough investigation and help gather and preserve vital evidence relating to the accident so that negligent parties don't walk away unpunished.

54-Year-Old Turlock Man Killed in San Leandro Big-Rig Jackknife Crash

The Oakland Tribune reports that 54-year-old John Jurevich of Turlock was killed in a San Leandro truck accident on the morning of Friday, March 18, 2011. The man apparently hit a tree around 9:20 a.m. while driving southbound on the Highway 238 connector to Interstate 580. After striking the tree, the big-rig jackknifed, causing the vehicle to overturn. As a consequence, the driver was killed. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The California Highway Patrol reports that the cause of the collision is being extensively investigated.

As this accident demonstrates, northern California big-rig jackknife accidents are extremely dangerous. Truck equipment failure, harsh road conditions, and incorrect braking can lead to a jackknife accident. This type of crash occurs when a truck skids, which causes the trailer to push the truck from behind until it faces backwards. When this happens, a big-rig is more susceptible to flipping onto its side. Even when truck drivers are properly wearing their seat belts, serious injury or even death can result when a big-rig overturns.

Trucking companies are responsible for fully training drivers and making sure that they abide by truck rules and regulations. These companies also have the important duty of ensuring that trucks receive frequent and thorough inspections as well as adequate repairs when necessary. If a truck crash occurs and the cause is determined to be the failure to properly maintain or repair a truck, a trucking company or the owner of the truck can be held liable.

Losing a loved one is never easy. This difficult time can be all the more challenging when a loved one's death is caused by an unexpected accident such as a truck crash in Oakland. If you believe that another person's negligence is to blame for your loss, an Oakland big-rig accident lawyer can evaluate the specifics surrounding the collision to determine the best possible course of action in devising a strong case.

Gravel Truck Tips Over on Highway 99 Onramp in Sacramento County Accident

A KCRA.com article reports that a Sacramento truck accident involving a gravel rig occurred this morning on March 18, 2011 along the Dillard Road onramp to Highway 99. Officers at the scene of the gravel truck crash stated that the truck driver was driving at a speed too great for the tight corner of the onramp. As a consequence, the load of gravel being transported in the rig shifted, causing the truck to topple. The rig slid onto its left side but the truck driver did not sustain injury. Gravel from the truck was strewn across the median between the ramps headed to Dillard Road.

At the time of the article's release, no other vehicles were reported to have been involved in the truck accident and no one was injured. If the truck driver's speeding had caused another person to suffer injury or death, the truck driver could be held legally responsible for losses and damages.

State and federal rules and regulations outline standards that need to be upheld and followed in relation to truck drivers, large commercial trucks, and trucking companies. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) specifies that truck drivers are required to follow posted speed limits. For instance, if the total trip is on highways with 65 mph speed limits, trips amounting to 600 miles or more will be suspected of having been completed through speed limit violations and may be required to be documented.

Not every truck accident is caused by the truck driver. However, truck driver fatigue, truck company oversight, and hours of service violations continue to be a problem in this county. Another issue with large commercial trucks is the failure to properly maintain or repair truck components. Experienced Sacramento tractor trailer crash attorneys are familiar with the many ways in which a truck driver or trucking company may try to avoid responsibility for an accident their negligence caused. To ensure that you receive the compensation that you deserve, consider speaking with a personal injury lawyer who has successfully handled truck accident cases.

8-Year-Old Girl Suffers Head Injuries in Interstate 780 Rollover Accident

VALLEJO - A San Francisco rollover crash on Interstate 780 that occurred on the night of Wednesday, March 16, 2011, has left an 8-year-old Benicia girl with moderate-to-serious head injuries and her mother, the driver, with moderate injuries. The Oakland Tribune reports that the mother and daughter were heading west on I-780 when the mother lost control of the vehicle, causing it to swerve and roll over at approximately 6:18 p.m.

A California Highway Patrol Officer (CHP) stated that after rolling over twice, the vehicle came to a stop on its roof, perpendicular to the road. The mother apparently let emergency personnel know that she and her daughter were both wearing their seat belts. However, the mother said that the young girl was flung into the front seat during the collision.

While the events leading up to the rollover accident are still being examined, investigators may evaluate whether dangerous roadways, distracted driving, or a form of negligence contributed to the crash. Some vehicles, such as SUVs, are more likely to rollover than others due to having a higher center of gravity. Although manufacturers of these vehicles are aware of certain rollover risks presented by poor design and crashworthiness flaws, they are still placed on the market.

Rollover accidents can cause serious injuries, especially if a vehicle occupant is ejected from the vehicle or if the roof of the vehicle is crushed in after rolling over one or multiple times. San Francisco rollover accident lawyers are highly familiar with the best tactics for preserving auto accident evidence and devising reconstruction of a crash. With a skilled attorney on your side, you can focus on healing from your injuries or caring for an injured loved one while a strong and effective case is built on your behalf.

Motorcyclist Killed in Highway 101 San Mateo Chain Reaction Accident

SAN MATEO- A chain reaction accident in San Mateo that occurred on the morning of March 10, 2011 has left a motorcyclist dead. According to KTVU.com, it was unclear whether others involved in the crash suffered injuries.

A California Highway Patrol (CHP) officer stated that the chain reaction collision began when a Toyota Corolla smashed into a center diver wall on the highway, rendering the vehicle unable to operate and blocking a lane. The female driver of the car reportedly fell asleep at the wheel. The second crash occurred after a Good Samaritan stopped and tried to signal traffic with his flashlight. A motorcycle, Honda CRV, and a big rig were involved in the second accident. The CHP officer stated that while authorities are not sure if the two collisions are related, they think there is certainly a chance. The driver of the big rig left the scene of the accident.

Accidents involving multiple vehicles can be complex. Is it possible that more than one motorist caused the crash? If a person is killed, who can be held responsible? These questions can be even more difficult to answer if a motorist involved in the accident leaves the crash scene. All drivers have the duty to remain at the scene of an accident, whether or not they caused the collision. Hit-and-run charges can lead to criminal charges in addition to the consequences of civil liability.

Wrongful death motorcycle accidents are tragic. In far too many motorcycle accident cases, a motorcyclist's death could have been prevented if another motorist had checked their blind spot before changing lanes or hadn't been speeding. Because motorcyclists lack the same protection an occupant of a truck, bus, or small passenger vehicle has, motorcyclists can be more susceptible to serious injury or death. A San Francisco fatal motorcycle accident lawyer works to protect the rights of family members of motorcyclists killed in accidents caused by another motorist's negligence. Statute of limitations provide a window of time that family members are allowed to pursue compensation and hold negligent parties liable in a California wrongful death case.

Highway 160 Head-On Accident Involving Pickup Trucks Kills Elk Grove Man

SACRAMENTO - A motor vehicle accident on Highway 160 that involved two pickup trucks resulted in the death of an Elk Grove man, 51-year-old Weiliang Li. According to the Sacramento Bee, the California Highway Patrol (CHP) reported that the California head-on crash occurred around 1:15 p.m. on Monday, March 14, 2011, north of the Antioch Bridge.

A pickup truck driven by a Rio Vista man was reportedly heading north when it veered into oncoming traffic, crashing head-on into the vehicle in which Li was a passenger. The driver of the pickup carrying Li was not reported to have suffered serious injury. However, the motorist of the truck the CHP reports to have crossed over the line sustained major injuries and was not identified.

According to National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) data for the early estimates of January-June of 2010, 14,996 people died in motor vehicle traffic accidents. While the Highway 160 accident is still under investigation, since one of the pickup trucks reportedly drifted into the opposing lane, it is possible that driver fatigue, distracted driving, or drunk driving may have contributed to the crash.

Pickup trucks are known for having dangerous blind spots and a high likelihood of rolling. These potential risks make it all the more important for pickup truck motorists to be fully aware of their surroundings and follow all traffic laws.

If it is determined that another motorist's negligence caused a person to suffer serious injury or death in an accident, individuals who are injured or family members of those killed may be able to receive compensation for their losses and damages. A skilled Sacramento wrongful death attorney can help a family through this difficult time. While it may seem impossible to even think about contacting a lawyer after losing a loved one in a car collision, there is only a limited time allowed to family members to pursue a wrongful death claim.

Woman Struck by Berkeley Laboratory Shuttle Bus in Downtown Crosswalk

centerstreetshattuckavenue.jpgDOWNTOWN BERKELEY - A 54-year-old woman walking westbound down Center Street was seriously injured Monday afternoon when she was struck and run over by a Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory shuttle bus in a crosswalk. The accident occurred around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Center Street and Shattuck Avenue. A female friend who was walking with the woman that was run over suffered minor injuries from pounding on the side of the bus to get the driver's attention. The driver stopped at the scene. The victim, who was trapped under the bus for about 45 minutes, had to be extricated by firefighters. She suffered major injuries, including serious fractures to her lower extremities that will require surgeries, was taken to a local trauma center.

Anyone who witnessed the incident and did not talk to authorities is encouraged to contact authorities at (510) 981-5900.

The major injury pedestrian accident occurred during Zachary Cruz Pedestrian Safety Month in Berkeley. Two years ago, a 5-year-old boy was struck and killed by a truck near the UC Berkeley campus. March of each year is publicized to remind drivers to drive safely and be aware of their surroundings.

Cause of the Bus vs. Pedestrian Accident

According to police, the women were in the crosswalk when the bus struck one of them. The bus had been travelling westbound on Center Street and was making a right / northbound turn onto northbound Shattuck Avenue. The women were crossing Shattuck Avenue in the north crosswalk. The cause of the accident is under investigation by the Berkeley Police Department. However, if news accounts of the incident were accurate, it appears possible that the bus driver may have been responsible for the collision.

Pedestrian Accident Personal Injury Liability

Serious injuries such as the injuries the woman sustained in this accident may result in a lengthy recovery and possibly permanent disability. If the bus driver was responsible for the crash, the University may be liable for the woman's serious injuries, including her present and future medical expenses and rehabilitative care, lost earnings, loss of earning capacity, pain and suffering, and other damages. While this Alameda County incident remains under investigation, the family members of the woman injured would be well-advised to contact an experienced and knowledgeable pedestrian accident injury lawyer. An attorney who has proven experience representing victims of pedestrian vs. bus accidents will be in the best position to help the victim recover maximum compensation for her injuries in a personal injury claim.
