SACRAMENTO - An 18-year-old Sacramento man was struck and killed Sunday night in a suspected DUI car vs. pedestrian accident on Northgate Boulevard, the Sacramento Bee reported. The victim, identified by the Sacramento County Coroner's Department as James Lindell Shiloh, 18, of Sacramento, was walking across Northgate Boulevard when he was struck by a maroon Chevy pickup truck driven by Vincent Velasquez, 34, of Sacramento. Velasquez was arrested following the fatal collision and booked into jail on suspicion of driving under the influence, driving on a suspended license, and being a habitual traffic offender. Bail was not set.
